As an immigration attorney for over thirteen years, Courtney McClymonds prefers supporting other legal professionals to taking her own caseload. She began her career as a teacher then quickly pursued law when she realized that she loved kids too much to teach them. Courtney discovered her love for immigration law at the African Community Center in Denver, and it was solidified at US Citizenship and Services in Washington D.C. She honed her expertise in immigration law, program management, public speaking and nonprofit leadership at World Relief where she spent more than eight years leading the immigration legal services program nationally. As Immigrant Connection’s Senior Advisor, she helps the team strategize and solve the tough situations that inevitably arise when serving immigrants in this country.

"It is of utmost importance that Immigrant Connection provides the highest quality of services. We invest heavily in on-going training and program management support for our legal network so that we can offer our best to immigrant families"

She obtained her J.D. and M.A. in International Human Rights from the University of Denver.  Courtney lives in the mountains just outside of Denver with her husband, 2 daughters and their cat named Goose.
